We currently have a range of analyst and internship opportunities available across Competition economics, Regulation, Finance and Valuation, and Analytics and Data Science.

Internships are offered across all of our offices, but availability varies by year and team.

We typically offer internships ranging from 3 months to 12 months depending on your preference and availability.

Opportunities to work in our UK, France and Belgium offices will be available to apply from mid September. Germany, Italy, Netherlands and Spain will be available to apply from October 2025.

To be considered for graduate roles at Oxera, you’ll typically need:
Degree: A 2:1 or above in Economics or Finance (or international equivalent). A postgraduate degree is preferred but not essential.
Skills: Solid understanding of microeconomics, with experience in data analysis or programming (e.g. Stata, R, Python, Excel).
Languages: Fluent English is required. A second European language is highly desirable and may be essential for some roles or locations.
Experience: Prior internships or relevant work experience are helpful but not mandatory.

Yes, we can provide sponsorship under the skilled worker visa scheme for Analyst roles, but this depends on the specific position and location. Unfortunately, we do not provide sponsorship for internship positions. Applicants must already have the legal right to work in the relevant country.

- If successful, you will be invited to a 1st stage interview which consists of a short case study and a written exercise.
- 2nd stage interview with a partner and principle which involves a short case study.
- You will hear from the recruitment team about the outcome of your interview.

- Case studies – Practice applying economic theory to real-world problems (e.g. mergers, cartels). It would be useful to research some case studies to better understand some of the challenges we have solved.
- Econometrics – Be ready to interpret data and explain statistical results.
- Presentations – You may need to analyse and present a short brief clearly.
- Motivation – Know why you want to work in economic consulting and at Oxera.
- Communication – Show you can explain complex ideas simply and logically.

We aim to get back you after your interview as soon as possible. However, delays are likely due to the volume of applications we receive. We aim to have extended all offers for all of our graduate opportunities by May 2026 at the latest.

Yes, definitely! Before you begin, you’ll have opportunities to meet your team and other new joiners through events like informal meetups and sometimes virtual introductions. We want you to feel part of the Oxera community from day one!
